LAZZARAS YACHT 80 E

Continuing the evolution of the Lazzara product line is the all-new 2004 80 E. The 80 E is a lean, aggressive looking vessel. The deck, flybridge and interior have been completely redesigned. The redesigned open flybridge with its swept-back, integrated radar arch helps to lower the overall look of the 80 E nearly 4 feet compared to the current 80 SC. It is built for those who crave the exhilarating rush of salt air and spectacular uninhibited views. The sleek and sexy design of the 80 E make it look like its going 33 knots even when standing still.

The 80 E also incoporates new CAT engines, a new TRAC stabilizer system and a secondary helm station below with full navigation as well as "fly by wire" joystick steering! Below deck is all the luxury and creature comforts you have come to expect in a Lazzara yacht.

Caterpillar C30 engines

Using the all-new Caterpillar C30 engines developing a total of 1,550 hp each, the 80 E reaches an incredible 33-knot top end. The 30-liter (1831 cu. in.) displacement V-12 cylinder turbocharged and after-cooled diesel engine is electronically controlled. The engines take full advantage of the hydraulically actuated, electronically controlled unit injector (HEUI) fuel system, resulting in an environmentally friendly engine with outstanding performance and fuel economy

TRAC Digital Stabilizer

Dramatic is the only word that even comes close to describing the performance of the 80 E when utilizing the TRAC Digital Stabilizer system. Other stabilizer products provide some degree of "roll dampening", but the TRAC virtually eliminates roll altogether! Fast-acting, solid-state inertial sensors (technology adopted from military cruise missiles) feed the TRAC's control processor with vessel roll and heel angle data in real time. Fin angle of attack is adjusted over 200 times per second to create roll-countering lift the instant it is detected. Hydraulically driven, this system is the most state-of-the-art stabilizing system available and is standard equipment on all Lazzara yachts.
