The Ocean 70 Super Sport is the perfect embodiment of graceful line, elegant comfort and seagoing power. Her advanced hull design tames difficult seas. Rounded contours, flush forward deck and raised sheer promise speed delivered by the standard Caterpillar diesel engines, together with the industry's most efficient use of horsepower. Interior space is quite frankly overwhelming.
Richly appointed and furnished, the salon is opulent. A large dinette and generously outfitted galley make entertaining simply a pleasure. Every attention has been paid to the private spaces aboard the yacht. Each of the four uncommonly roomy staterooms has a private head with enclosed shower. The cockpit is designed for sportfishing productivity. The fully enclosed bridge is climate controlled.
Pride of the Ocean fleet, the 70 Super Sport has the 30+ knot speed plus all the fishing and living luxuries you've dreamed of - and a few previously thought unattainable in a production yacht.

Hull Design
The Ocean 70 Super Sport defines luxury for the next generation of offshore yachts. Her classic profile, soft contours, flush forward deck, and raised sheerline are an unmistakable presence on the water at dockside.
With an estimated fuel capacity of 1,865 gal (7,059 l), the graceful Ocean 70 Super Sport is far-ranging. Distant tropical landfalls and fish-rich canyons are easily within her reach.
Standard Caterpillar 3412E (1400 BHP) twin diesels power the Ocean 70 Super Sport to 30+ knot speeds once considered out of the question for a luxury yacht of this size and displacement. Optional Detroit Diesel 12V and 16V engines provide even more speed and range.
Under her sleek hull, twin-lifting strakes straighten the waterflow over the rudders for excellent tracking ability. Double chines stabilize her in slop and chop, helping to keep her dry forward.
The Ocean 70 Super Sport's vast, illuminated cockpit comes equipped with a bait center with sink and freezer, transom live baitwell, a large refrigerated fishbox, roomy side lockers and tackle locker, fresh and seawater washdowns. Rupp riggers and a fighting chair are sportfishing options. The teak coverboard option complements her classic lines.
Flybridge Features
Backing down on a scale-tipping blue marlin is facilitated by the Ocean 70 Super Sport's outside steering station with electronic controls. Sightlines fore and aft are excellent.
The Ocean 70 Super Sport's standard fully-enclosed bridge is as large as the salon in many competitive mid-range boats. Climate-controlled, it features an L-lounge with CorianÆ table, a wet bar with refrigerator and icemaker, color TV with VCR, an instrumented forward control station, Stidds helmsman's seat and a doublewide companion seat. An outside steering station is ideal for backing down on fish. An enclosed stairway leads safely to the salon. An open flybridge is the preferred option for anglers.
An optional open flybridge is available with custom hardtop and EZ2CY enclosure. The mid-deck helm station offers increased visibility for captains. The open bridge layout eliminates the bridge-to-salon interior stairway of the standard enclosed bridge model. The resulting main-deck plan is fluid and expansive.
Salon Features
Designer wall treatments, plush carpeting, teak or maple paneling and cabinetry set the tone in the Ocean 70 Super Sport's elegant, expansive salon. A sprawling sectional designer sofa with rod storage, handsome custom teak or maple table with storage, wet bar with icemaker, and a complete entertainment center are standard in the air-conditioned salon. In the open bridge layout, the removal of the interior stairway creates flexible living area on the main-deck. Optional maple bulkheads, cabinetry, and trim are also available throughout the yacht.
The Ocean 70 Super Sport's sumptuously appointed salon features a Bose Lifestyle stereo, color television with remote, and DVD with remote - all standard.
You and your guests will savor the good life aboard the Ocean 70 Super Sport. Her spacious salon has a large custom table - perfect for entertaining at the dock or on the water. Owners consult with our exclusive interior designer, William Bales and Company, on fabrics and wall treatments to personalize their 70 Super Sport.
