BALTIC YACHT 97'

30Jun2008

The Baltic 97, sold to a central European client, was representing the highest level of quality, speed and comfort.

The design is somewhat traditional with long overhangs and a nice traditional sheer. The deck was fully covered with teak including the cabin sides, and given a high glossed varnished teak finish, leaving a style and look of a traditionally built wooden yacht. However, under the surface, this yacht is extremely high tech utilizing Carbon, Aramide in combination with Epoxy resins and a vacuum bagging laminate technique.

By using high tech building techniques and materials the yachts final weight could be kept low, considering the type of yacht and equipment level, this contributed to extremely good performance.
